The pilot project which involves the Cumberland Museum and Archives and the Nanaimo Museum is the first-ever online database showcasing Chinese historical records and artifacts in B.C. Inventory from 10 other B.C. museums is expected to be added to the database by the fall of 2015 and will be made available to the public via online library, museum and government resources.

The BC Museums Association is working in partnership with the University of Victoria, the provincial government and the Legacy Initiatives Advisory Council (LIAC) on this project.
