The Canadian Conservation Institute (CCI) is pleased to announce RE-ORG: Canada (West), the fourth edition of CCI’s training program on storage reorganization.
Over a period of 14 months, up to six museums (two participants per museum) from British Columbia, Alberta and Yukon will identify the key issues affecting the access and conservation of their collection, prepare a reorganization project and implement it. These selected museums will receive ongoing technical guidance from CCI and from fellow participants both in person and online. Participating museums agree to transfer their knowledge and skills to other museums in their network.
RE-ORG: Canada (West) targets small and medium-sized museums based in British Columbia, Alberta and Yukon and is organized in collaboration with the Museums Assistance Program, the British Columbia Museums Association (BCMA), the Alberta Museums Association (AMA), the Yukon Historical and Museums Association (YHMA) and Yukon Government. It will run from September 2017 to November 2018.
