The BC Museums Association is excited to announce the Indigenous Cultural Competencies Training Bursary Program.
This bursary program is a one-time opportunity offered by the BC Museums Association in partnership with the Province of British Columbia.
A limited number of bursaries (up to $2600) are available to cover transportation, registration and accommodation costs for Indigenous and non-Indigenous individuals working or volunteering in the cultural heritage sector to participate in a full-day Indigenous Cultural Competencies training session.
Individuals working or volunteering in organizations with a culture or heritage mandate and responsibility for a museum, cultural heritage assets or historic place are eligible to apply to the bursary.
The bursaries are intended to support participants who would not otherwise be able to participate in this important workshop due to lack of funds.
