Alisha comes to us with more than 10 years of experience in the non-profit sector, and has deep personal connections with BC museums. Alisha’s grandfather, Marl Brown, is the curator of the Fort Nelson Heritage Museum, and recipient of the 2018 BCMA Distinguished Service Award. Spending her childhood growing up in the museum in Fort Nelson, and later working there as her first summer job, Alisha has a deep instilled appreciation for the value of heritage preservation in BC.
Since then, Alisha has worked in various non-profit roles including those at Dogwood, the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Victoria, and as the Executive Director for the Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus Association of Northern Alberta.
We are excited and privileged to have Alisha on board with us and we look forward to working with her!
