The BCMA is pleased to report we have been awarded a MAP grant from Canadian Heritage! Our project is to create an online Professional Hub and Toolbox for Small Museums. The Toolbox resources will be user-friendly, visually-appealing, practical in nature, easy-to-implement and geared toward generalists working in small museums in order to strengthen their knowledge and practices with respect to three key museum functions: Collections Management; Museum Education; Exhibit Development.

On Monday, January 28th, join in for the third annual Lower Mainland Museum Educators conference, Change Makers and Space Makers.
This conference aims to bring together staff and volunteers from museums, art galleries, science centers, and related organizations to examine lessons learned, discuss best practices, explore strategies for common problems, and network.
